McIntosh Park has many amenities for meeting the recreational needs of the citizens of Carroll County, including hiking and riding trails, camping, fishing, as well as boating and rafting. The park is host to many public events such as the annual Shriner’s Car Show, equestrian events, an Easter Egg hunt for kids, various track meets, and Rivers Alive, among others. The most popular annual event is the McIntosh Fall Festival, which takes place the last weekend in September. This festival features a Native American Pow Wow, arts and crafts, activities for children, food, music and living history.
