Saturday, May 19, 2018, 9 am: FOMR Walk and Talk at McIntosh Reserve Park: Dr. Ben DeMayo will lead a hike to see the park's native ferns. Meet at the old ranger station. Free and open to the public. Parking fees will be waived for program participants.
Saturday, June 16, 9 am: FOMR Walk and Talk at McIntosh Reserve Park. Dr. Tim Chowns will present a talk on the geology of Georgia's sea islands. A short hike will follow. Meet at Pavilion 3 near the old ranger station. Free and open to the public. Parking fees will be waived for program participants.

Saturday, July 21, 9 am Jeff Bishop, Newnan historian, will talk about the Creeks at McIntosh Reserve. Plan to meet at Council Bluff, but check at the entrance kiosk for any change in venue. Parking fees will be waived for program participants.
There will be a special called board meeting of the FOMR Board on August 13 at 5:30 pm at Neva Lomason Library. We will discuss plans for fall activities including the Fall Festival and Annual Meeting as well as items from the July agenda that were not addressed.
August 18, 9 am at McIntosh Reserve Park: FOMR Walk and Talk: Falconer Dale Arrorwood will bring his raptors to the Park for an exciting show. Set up will be on the large field by the river. Parking fees will be waived for program participants. Bring a chair or blanket for seating.
