August 20, 10 am Walk and Talk: Fishing with Brent Hess, DNR. Meet at the McIntosh boat ramp in McIntosh Reserve Park. This event is free and open to the public. However, there is a parking fee ($5 per vehicle) if you do not have an annual pass for Carroll County parks.
Tim Chowns will lead a hike around the base and to the top of Council Bluff at McIntosh Reserve Park and talk about the building of the Appalachian Mountains.
Dr. David Morgan from the Biology Department at the University of West Georgia will lead our April 15th Walk and Talk. Meet at the Old Ranger Station at 10 am. We will enjoy a walk in the park learning about Dr. Morgan's work and the plant inventory at McIntosh Reserve.
