Join us this Saturday, August 19th at 10 am at the base of Council Bluff in McIntosh Reserve Park for this month’s Walk and Talk. We are going to participate in the Great Southeast Pollinator Census, to count the number of insects landing on flowers of pollinator plants.
We will do a few practice counts, then some for real. We’ll have some official tally sheets – with pictures to help with identification. Since one counting period is 15 minutes, we will be able to do several.
The parking fee for those without an annual county park pass is $5.00 per vehicle.
