Walk and Talk April 23rd McIntosh Reserve 10am
Gail Woody will lead our Wendell Hoomes Wildflower Walk and Talk!
Gail is a native plant and pollinator enthusiast!!!! Come hear her share her expertise and knowledge about native spring flowering plants in the park and learn about the benefits of them for pollinators and our own human health.
Meet at Pavilion #3 parking lot. We will walk on a nearby trail to discover these amazing plants right here in our park! Easy Hiking, wear good shoes.
In honor of Earth Day, we will be giving a small selection of trees to interested participants. Plant a tree in your yard and watch it grow and create habitat and clean air! Gail will also share all the benefits trees provide to our ecosystem!
For those without an annual parking pass, there is a $5 fee for a vehicle to enter the park.
See you on the trail!
