Walk and Talk

We will meet at 9:00 am at the Council Bluff Pavilion at McIntosh Reserve.
Dr. Tim Chowns will present a program on the plate tectonics that gave rise to the Appalachian Mountains and the processes that have resulted in the landscape seen today at McIntosh Reserve Park. After the talk, he will lead a hike to show illustrations of these past events. This optional walk should not be too strenuous. Please join us.
