Informal Hike

Come join FOMR for an informal hike to the proposed site for a walking bridge between McIntosh Reserve Park and Chattahoochee Bend State Park. The start point for the hike will be southwest of McIntosh Park off of Highway 5. (From the roundabout in Whitesburg, go southwest on Highway 5 toward Roopville for about 4.5 miles.) The property drive will be on your left. Someone will be at the drive entrance to direct you to the parking area for the hike. This hike is not long, but the terrain is uneven and sometimes quite steep.
