On Saturday, May 18, a group of us did a hike in the newest property to be added to McIntosh Reserve Park, beginning on an unpaved road to the south of the old Ranger Station.
After walking east along the unpaved road for a few hundred yards, we turned south and walked down to a bluff overlooking the Chattahoochee River. After walking down to the river we turned east again, walked through some tall grass, crossed a creek, and entered an open area beside the river. Finally, we walked to the north side of the open area, turned back to the west and proceeded on an old road back to our starting point.
