Congratulations to all you hardy souls who joined us for the first FOMR annual float trip between Moore’s Bridge and McIntosh Reserve. On checking my rain gauge I see we received over 2 inches of rain yesterday. In spite of a good soaking I hope everyone enjoyed the adventure and will be ready for another trip next year when the weather is sure to be better!
Thanks to Tim Banks and his staff for their able leadership and good humor in spite of the inclement weather; also to Greg Flanders for his support.
Bob Meyers won the prize for most elegant landing, while I won for most collisions!
